Lindsay + Luke

Lindsay, Luke and I met just over a year ago in December 2018. Lindsay found me on IG and contacted me to shoot their newborn photos when baby Leah arrived. I went to their home for a lifestyle newborn sesh. Fast forward to December 2019 and they contacted me again to shoot Leah’s first birthday. Lindsay left no detail out for Leah’s party and it was quite the sophisticated first birthday. We had so much fun! 

Here we are today, I reached out them to meet up in Boone and capture just the two of them on top of a mountain. They were down and I am so happy they were! Lindsay rented this beautifully delicate white midi dress from Reclamation that just flowed so perfectly in the summer breeze in the mountains. 

Even though they had been in front of my camera multiple times, this time was different. I prompted them through the session and felt so in my element capturing their natural connection. Their easy going personalities made my prompts so much more fun!

Lindsay and Luke met in PA, where Lindsay is from (Luke was living in Alaska at the time). They got married and decided they wanted to head south. They got jobs and landed in Charlotte and started their little family! You can’t tell yet in these photos but baby Bennett # 2 is on the way! I can’t wait to keep capturing this sweet family’s milestones ♥️
