To catch everyone up real quick, I had a baby in December 2021 and took some time off from shooting to spend time with new family and towards the end of my pregnancy to make sure I wasn’t pushing myself too hard. Man oh man did I miss shooting though!
What a way to kick-start my photography season! I have known the Tamayos for a few years now and they’ve become great friends. We are lucky enough that they live in our neighborhood too! Melissa and I have been planning this session for months – literally since January! We patiently waited for Spring to blossom, sicknesses to go away and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. We had the prettiest white blooms along the trail we chose which complimented their outfits so perfectly. At one point we all felt like we were in the mountains! The boys (who we lovingly refer to as Goro and Santi) explored the trails while I snapped away. They had such a great time that the next time they were on the trails they asked “where is Tia Melanie?”
The Tamayos love to explore and these trails hold a special place in their hearts as a place where they get to spend time together as a family. Needless to say, we had a great time and created some beautiful memories. Let the family sessions begin!
